What was the most memorable moment of your internship?
Kaarel, energy system controller
Meeting with the current manager, who introduced me to the work of the control centre and the responsibility for the entire Estonian electricity supply. I was fascinated by the work being done and the interesting stories that made me want to be a part of this team.
Kristiina, junior power system analyst
The most memorable part was the visit to Estlink 2 during its repairs, where we saw theory in practice. We also visited the substations and equipment there, which we were able to examine up close that day.
Would you recommend Elering's internship to others, why?
Kaarel, energy system controller
Certainly, because it is a great opportunity to dive into the exciting challenges of Estonian energy, such as connecting to the synchronous area and the development of renewable energy.
Kristiina, junior power system analyst
Yes, there are many different units at Elering where you can find a suitable future job during your internship. In addition, my colleagues are nice, and the working environment is supportive.
