In order to work in electrical installations and their protection zones, Elering has approved requirements based on the EN50110 standard, compliance with which is mandatory for both Elering’s employees and employees of contractors working for Elering. The EN50110 standard sets out the safe operation of electrical installations, and safety requirements for electrical and non-electrical work carried out in, on or near electrical installations.

In addition to the safety recommendations of Elering and the EN50110 standard, the following requirements must be taken into account to perform work safely:
