Amber Gas Corridor
Amber Gas Corridor – connecting the Finnish and Baltic gas markets with Poland, extending into Central and Eastern Europe
Amber Gas Corridor is a regional natural gas transportation initiative, launched on 27 November 2025, aiming to make more efficient use of existing gas transmission infrastructure and regional interconnections. The corridor connects the Finnish and Baltic gas markets and Poland, providing a reliable framework for bidirectional gas transportation between Finland, the Baltic States, Poland, and the Central and Eastern Europe region.
The initiative is jointly developed by Amber Grid (Lithuania), KN Energies (Lithuania), Conexus Baltic Grid (Latvia), Elering (Estonia), Gasgrid Finland (Finland) and GAZ-SYSTEM (Poland).
The Amber Gas Corridor is based on existing gas transmission infrastructure, LNG terminals, and gas storage facilities, ensuring reliable, flexible, and market-oriented gas transportation.
