Design towers
In recent years, Elering has erected three unique design towers for high-voltage lines – Soorebane, Sookurg, and Sookureke. The aim of these towers is to combine technical functionality with aesthetic design, thereby enriching Estonian public space. The towers were designed by architects Sille Pihlak and Siim Tuksam from the architectural firm PART.
All three design towers are made of COR-TEN steel, which is a durable and weather-resistant material. The unique design and functionality of these towers symbolise Elering’s endeavor to combine technology and art, while enriching Estonia’s living environment and supporting the development of the country’s energy system.
