Only category D gas installations (all producers whose connection points are built for a pressure above 16 bar) can connect to the generation-oriented grid connection.

By agreement with the network operator, the client has the option to establish a consumption-oriented gas installation required for connection, which remains in the ownership of the network operator, on the territory of the network operator’s facility. More detailed terms and conditions are agreed upon in the connection contract.

Principles of connecting to a network operator

Grid connection upon connection to a new gas distribution station (hereinafter GDS)

When connecting to a new GDS, the network operator builds all the construction works necessary for the grid connection in accordance with the list presented in Figure 1 (Figure 1, pos. 1-7) for the connection fee.

The connection point is a weld owned by the network operator located behind a shut-off valve (Figure 1,pos. 6) owned by the network operator. More information can be found in section 3.5.2 of the Connection Conditions.

Grid connection upon connection to an existing gas distribution station

The network operator expands the existing GDS building for the connection fee, if technically possible, by installing the equipment and systems necessary for grid connection in the expanded part of the building according to the list presented in Figure 2 (Figure 2, pos. 9-13).

The connection point is a weld owned by the network operator located behind a shut-off valve (Figure 2, pos. 12) owned by the network operator. More information can be found in section 3.5.3 of the Connection Conditions.

Grid connection to a gas distribution station through an existing branch pipeline

The network operator builds a new GDS building for the connection fee and installs the equipment and systems necessary for grid connection in the building according to the list presented in Figure 2.1 (Figure 2.1, pos. 9–13).  This technical solution is implemented in a situation where it is not practical to implement the technical solution of the existing GDS upon connection.

If the territory of the existing GDS also does not allow the placement of a new GDS building, the network operator builds a new GDS on the existing branch pipeline for the connection fee, together with the equipment and systems necessary for the connection, according to the list presented in Figure 2.1.

The connection point is a weld (Figure 2.1., pos. 13) owned by the network operator located behind a shut-off valve (Figure 2.1, pos. 12) owned by the network operator.   More information can be found in section 3.5.4 of the Connection Conditions.

Grid connection upon connecting the client's gas distribution station to the branch pipeline

The network operator builds the construction works necessary for the grid connection in accordance with the list presented in Figure 3 (Figure 3, pos. 1–5) for the connection fee.

The connection point is a weld (Figure 3, pos. 5) owned by the network operator located behind a shut-off valve (Figure 3, pos. 4) owned by the network operator.   More information can be found in section 3.5.5 of the Connection Conditions.

Grid connection upon connection to a gas metering station (hereinafter GMS)

The network operator builds the construction works necessary for the grid connection in accordance with the list presented in Figure 4 (Figure 4, pos. 1–5) for the connection fee.

The connection point is a weld (see pos. 5) owned by the network operator located behind a shut-off valve (Figure 4, pos. 4) owned by the network operator.   More information can be found in section 3.5.6 of the Connection Conditions.

Grid connection upon generation-oriented connection

In the event of generation-oriented connection, the network operator builds all the construction works necessary for the grid connection in accordance with the list presented in Figure 5 (Figure 5, pos. 3–8) for the connection fee.

The connection point is a weld (Figure 5, pos. 3) located behind a shut-off valve (Figure 5, pos. 4) owned by the network operator.   More information can be found in section 3.5.6 of the Connection Conditions.
