Design tower Sookureke
The design tower Sookureke, located by the Mustvee River, belongs to the same family as the first design tower in Estonia, Soorebane, which was erected in Lääne County in 2020, and the second design tower Sookurg, which was erected in the outskirts of Tartu city in August 2022, at the intersection of Tallinn-Tartu highway and Tiksoja road.
The three design towers were designed by architects Sille Pihlak and Siim Tuksam from the architectural firm PART.
Estonia’s third design tower, Sookureke, is part of the reconstruction project of Viru-Tsirguliina 330kV overhead line, which helps to connect us to the Continental European electricity network.
