Development plans
Pursuant to Article 51 of Directive (EU) 2019/944 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the transmission system operator is obligated, pursuant to subsection 66 (8) of the Estonian Electricity Market Act, to submit a ten-year network development plan based on existing and forecasted demand and supply at least every two years.
In accordance with section 212 of the Natural Gas Act, the ten-year development plan for the Estonian gas transmission system is prepared by Elering.
