Gas datahub

The Gas Datahub (https://gaasiandmeladu.elering.ee) is a data exchange environment for gas market participants. The datahub as a system covers three main processes in the gas market, which are:

  • the process of switching suppliers and the message exchange describing it;
  • the process of submitting metering point data and metering data, including submission of forecast data;
  • the coding process.

In addition, the datahub includes functionality for calculating metering data necessary for imbalance settlement.

You can read more about the Datahub and its technical solution in the Manual for using and connecting to the datahub (attached). To use the live datahub environment, the market participant must enter into a contract for the use of datahub (attached).

Transition to the new data exchange platform Estfeed Datahub

On 17 November 2026, the Estfeed Datahub data exchange platform will be introduced for gas market data exchange. This data exchange platform has already been in use in the electricity market since 22 November 2024. This means that the current Gas AVP (Data Exchange Platform) will no longer be available, and all market participants must integrate with the new system. The API integrations currently in use will not function in the new system. Transitioning to the new system is necessary to ensure the reliability and sustainability of the platform.

To ensure a smooth transition, we are organizing regular meetings with market participants. The meetings are held in Estonian language. To join the meetings or the mailing list, please contact [email protected]. Business and technical documentation is available on GitHub.

IT platform for the common balance zone

The IT platform for the common balance zone is a data exchange environment for network users in the gas market. The platform covers the following processes:

  • booking and confirmation of input/output power for the common gas zone;
  • submission and approval of nominations and renominations;
  • transmission of imbalance data of the network user’s balance portfolio.

The prerequisite for using the platform is a valid balance agreement with a system operator in the common gas zone (Elering AS or JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid”).

The terms of use and data exchange guidelines for using the service can be found in the attachment below.

The platform is located at:  https://platform.conexus.lv/

The platform test environment is located at: https://bcgp-test.conexus.lv/
