Over half thousand consumption points changed their electricity seller in the beginning of November
According to the statistics provided by Andmeladu, the data hub administered by Elering, electricity seller was changed in 675 consumption points in the beginning of November.
The number of fixed - term contracts is continuously in deacreasing trend – there are currently 404 000 of that kind of contracts that is 1050 less than in October. By contrast, number of open - ended contracts is growing. According to the data hub, currently 173 300 consumption points are using open – ended contracts that is 1100 more compared to last month.
There are 136 900 consumption points with no electricity contracts or in another word universal service users that is 500 more compared to last month. Universal service users make stably 19 per cent of all electricity consumption points that, on the other hand, is only approximately four per cent of overall consumption.
The market shares of sellers’ balance portfolios for the last few months can be seen in the table below. The calculation of portfolio shares is based on regional consumption capacities, which include network operators’ grid losses and universal service usage volumes. Supply to consumers fixed in advance has not been taken into account, as a result of which actual sales shares may differ slightly from those presented in the table.
