Estonian Transmission System Operator (TSO) Elering together with other Nordic TSOs have launched a new online map that shows real time data of the electricity systems in Nordic countries. This represents a next big step for Estonia towards integration with the Nordic electricity market.

The map shows the real-time power flows and prices between the bidding areas in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Estonia. Furthermore, the information published includes data on electricity production by generation type, net exchange and consumption per country. All the information is updated every minute.

By disclosing information on the physical situation in the Nordic power system, the TSOs take another important step to increase the transparency of the Nordic power market give consumers a better overview of the current market situation.

The Nordic TSOs are Energinet.dk, Fingrid, Statnett, Svenska Kraftnät and Elering.
