In February, 84% of all electricity consumption was purchased via open market contracts, which has grown by one per cent compared to January. The universal service was used at 202,009 metering points in February, which was 16% of the total consumption.

By the end February 68% of the places of consumption had signed an open market contract. Around 83.5% of electricity contracts are fixed-term contracts and the other 16.5% are open-ended contracts. In addition, 205 consumers decided to change their electricity seller and their new electricity contract will become valid in March.
