Authorisation and user roles
You can log in to Elering’s renewable energy information system using an ID card, Smart-Id or Mobile-ID solutions.
If a legal entity has specifics on the right of representation entered in the Commercial Register, then to gain access, a free-form, digitally signed application for adding an authorised user must be sent to [email protected], stating who is granting the authorisation to whom, for what purpose, and for which period.
Producers and traders registered in Elering’s renewable energy information system can authorise other natural persons or, in some cases, legal entities to perform certain actions or provide access to data on their behalf.
Authorised users can be managed by producers and traders (private individuals and, in the case of legal entities, a member of the management board*) and authorised users who have been granted the “Authorisation Manager” role/authorisation in Elering’s renewable energy information system by clicking on the producer’s name in the top right corner of the page in Elering‘s renewable energy information system -> selecting “My data” -> “Authorised users”.
Authorisations can be added to Elering’s renewable energy information system as follows:

Administrator of equipment, production and support |
Can submit and view applications for support on behalf of a natural person or a company, view generated output, add co-generation and other data related to production and devices, register a solar plant, and view registered devices in Elering’s renewable energy information system. The role can be assigned to both natural persons and legal entities. |

Administrator of guarantees of origin |
Can manage the guarantees of origin in your account on behalf of a natural person or a company and view the guarantee of origin account statement and period report in Elering’s renewable energy information system. The role can be assigned to both natural persons and legal entities. |

Viewer of origin of consumed electricity |
Can view the origin of the electricity consumed on behalf of a natural person or a company in Elering’s renewable energy information system. The role can only be assigned to natural persons. |

Authorisation administrator |
A natural person who can add, change and delete authorisations on behalf of a company and change the company’s basic data in Elering’s renewable energy information system. The authorisation administrator can grant rights equivalent to the right of sole representation to persons (including to themselves). |
*if specifications of the right of representation have been entered in the Commercial Register, then to gain access, a signed application in free form must be sent to add an authorized user to the Elering renewable energy information system, where it must be noted who is granting the authorization to whom, for what purpose, and for what period.
